About Greenfan
Greenfan was founded in 2000 by Peter Reese to provide clients with dynamic web sites and web-based applications. Greenfan's focus is implementing technologies to give life to web sites and shape them to be highly interactive and useful.
Greenfan provides stable Linux-based ColdFusion web hosting. With a server located in Minneapolis on a high bandwidth Internet connection, Greenfan is able to supply a degree of service most hosting providers cannot.
When you work with Peter, you are working with the architect for the application as well as the server administrator. No having to deal with customer service people reading from a script or fish your way through a web interface. With the hosting technology in place, Greenfan can focus attention to site creation and maintenance with flexibility avoiding the restrictions of working with a large hosting provider.
Greenfan has developed sites for a number of different applications and companies. We primarily work along with web site design partners who specialize in the look and feel of sites and applications. Our role is usually the "back-end" engineering interacting with a database or other application. However from time to time we will take on design roles as well.
Our strength is implementing our established and mature content management system developed by Greenfan. We have also developed various database front end sites and e-commerce applications.
As an expert in the web technology ColdFusion, Peter has in-depth knowledge and practical experience to address challenges of producing web sites with advanced functionality. Peter currently is a software developer for Thomson Reuters. Previously, he was with Adobe Systems as a Technical Account Manager. He has been developing web sites with ColdFusion since 1997. He got his start in the Internet marketing department of a Minneapolis advertising agency.
