Welcome to the “Volunteer Experience” at the Twin Cities Red Cross, an experience that can change your life forever.

The Red Cross provides important training in all aspects of LIFESAVING and community safety. If you don't have the necessary training, but you'd like to teach, we'll train you, in some cases for free.

HELP YOUR NEIGHBORS
When you volunteer with our Emergency Response Team, you provide emergency services including food, clothing, shelter, medical and emotional support to people following an emergency.

*Minneapolis sessions are at 1201 West River Parkway
**St. Paul sessions are at 176 South Robert Street
As an Emergency Medical Services Team member, you'll help provide on-site emergency medical services at public events like concerts, sporting events and the State Fair.
As a Transportation Services driver, you will help people get to important medical and other personal appointments.

Twin Cities Companies Support Volunteering
Did you know:
- 78% of General Mills employees volunteer?
- Or that Best Buy donates $1000 to chariry for every 40 hours an employee volunteers?
- And that 3M makes a $200 grant on behalf of employees who volunteer over 25 hours a year?

Twin Cities companies like Ameriprise, UBS, GMAC-ResCap, IBM and Cenveo encourage workplace giving and have payroll check-off options for its employees to donate to the Twin Cities Red Cross.
Companies can create a further connection to its workers by:
- Matching their volunteer hours with an additional financial contribution.
- Creating a team of trained "Volunteer Reserves" among its workforce who are dispatched by the Red Cross to large-scale disasters across the United States.
- Sharing Red Cross Volunteer Opportunities through its company web site, literature and bulletin boards.
